Description
Visit the iconic Guggenheim Museum in New York, one of the key museums featuring a great modern and contemporary art collection.
The building is a masterpiece, created in 1957 by the “greatest American architect of all time” Frank Lloyd Wright.
The collection boasts 8000 exhibits, including artworks by the main artists of the 19th and 20th centuries: impressionists, modern and contemporary artists.
Most of the names on the labels will be familiar to any visitor: Paul Cézanne, Jackson Pollock, Roy Lichtenstein, Vasili Kandinski and Paul Gauguin - all world-renowned artists.
Don't miss the temporary exhibitions, if any, during your visit. The Guggenheim Museum is known for attracting the most prominent artists who currently influence art.
