Naples Underground

The Naples Underground is an undeground city, hundreds of kilometers of streets, caves and tunnels. Walking at the depth of 40 meters under the street level means to uncover one by one various layers of history, starting from the ancient city la Neapolis Sotterrata, founded by the Greek settlers, followed by the roman city with the Greek Roman Aqueduct, the ancient Roman theater of Neapolis, and Summa Cavea, exhibition of beautiful handmade sculptures, and finally arriving at the Bourbon Tunnel, created by Ferdinand II Bourbon as an escape route for the king.
